Meet Jake

Jake currently owns two N54 powered BMW’s – an E60 535i and E82 135i. Jake has 10 years of experience maintaining, repairing, and upgrading his BMW’s. The 135i features a single turbo Precision 6266 conversion capable of 700+whp; Jake completed the entire project on his own. With over 200 automotive articles published, Jake brings a balance of writing skill, hands-on BMW experience, and technical knowledge to the table.

BMW N54 Tuners is an online blog and community focused specifically on the 3.0L Inline-6, twin-turbocharged, BMW N54 engine. These engines are used in the BMW 135i, 335i, and 535i vehicles and the predecessor to the N55 single-turbo engine. This community will include a variety of posts from N54 owners, ranging from DIY guides to build threads and other general N54 information. The goal of this blog is to provide reliable information and technical assistance to potential BMW owners, enthusiasts, and DIY’ers looking to modify their N54 engines.

Who Runs The Blog?

The blog is currently run by two administrators, Zach & Jake, who are all-around BMW enthusiasts. Zach currently drives a 2007 335i, and Jake drives a 2008 135i. Having been in the parts industry for years, Zach & Jake possess an array of mechanical knowledge, with advanced knowledge on N54 engines and N54 tuning.
